Slideshow timeout tweak

I did finally get the answer I was looking for. instructions for editing the Registry to change the timing on the Fax and Picture Viewer slideshows:
1. Open your favorite Registry Editor and navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software \Microsoft \Windows \Current Version \Explorer \ShellImageView
2. Create or edit DWORD value "Timeout" (without the quotation marks).
In the Value data field enter 500 for a 1/2 second duration, 1000 for a 1 second duration, etc.
3. Re-open windows explorer window if it was open for this change to take effect.
